ANCIENT ECHOES

ANCIENT ECHOES

This line of jewelry is designed at our facilities and inspired by extant pieces from lost civilizaations found in private collections or museums around the world.

These ancient symbols, also evident in carvings and paintings in tombs, temples and other archeological sites, enable us to create unique pieces that resonate with the energy and beauty of centuries past. Each piece is individually handcrafted to honor our ancestors and the sacred cultures they left behind.

EGYPTIANS

This collection begins with the ancient Egyptian Dynasties starting with the First Dynasty Abydos Bracelets and ending with the reign of Cleopatra after Alexander the Great had conquered Egypt. Some of the items are already available as indicated below where there is a price listed and a shopping cart button.

First Dynasty - 3045-3020 BC - King Djer

Although King Djer's tomb had been raided several times throughout history, thanks to a clean-up crew doing a rushed job, the mummified arm of a female member of the royal household survived by being stuck into a crack in the wall. When found it still held four bracelets. Our collection contains two of these styles.

Ptolemaic Period

After Alexander the Great conquered Egypt in 332 BCE and Ptolemy, his general, started a dynasty lasting 300 years, the Greco-Roman influence became evident in the Egyptian jewelry. The Egyptian symbols and motifs were still used; however, they were set in complicated metalwork with filigreed and granulated gold which resulted in the unique style of that time period.
