The articles of clothing pictured in this section are either one-of-a-kind items made of top quality brocades, wools and other fine fabrics which are in short supply or closeout items that we no longer stock. This section is a "Revolving Rack" where a garment will be removed as soon as it has been sold. They are available for immediate shipment in the sizes listed. Some fabrics are available for additional sizes, but a 4-6 week waiting period may be necessary before shipment.

Damask Holiday Dress

This beautiful cream colored Italian Dress, matching two-piece sleeves and small Italian cap are perfect as a wedding dress, holiday dress or courtwear. It is made of satin damask and has small double sided grommets side closures. Also available in cotton damask. Just let us know if you prefer cotton!

Front Laced Basic Cotton Dress

Easy care cotton dress has a laced closed front and comes with straight sleeves inspired by Francesco del Cossa's painting titled "The Triumph of Venus" c. 1470, worn with a plain cotton chemise (not included).

(We still have some of this fabric in green and burgundy so you can order your size as long as the fabric supply lasts!)

OUR SIZING STANDARDS
Our dresses are not sized by modern sizing standards since period dresses do not fit like modern clothing. The table (right) is merely a guide line to help you in your selection and not a hard and fast rule. Much depends on how you like your clothing to fit and your body style. The first measurement in each "size" is the actual garment measurement at the bustline. You should compare this number to your actual bust measurement.

IF YOU WANT IT TO FIT, BUT NOT "LIFT AND SUPPORT", your bust measurement should be the same at the first number.

IF YOU WANT A FIRM LIFT AND SUPPORT, your bust measurements can go up to the second number (and may possibly exceed it by a small amount).
